Hi Friends! Stampin’ Up! recently posted a video showcasing a technique that I use often and I chose to use it on today’s card. This is a birthday card for a dear friend of mine and it was really fun to make. First, here’s the video demonstrating the “Masking Technique”:
I did the same thing as shown in the video, along with one extra step: I stamped over the mask a second time, using versamark ink. Then I covered the ink with Iridescent Ice embossing powder and then set it with my heat tool:
Just a side note, I used framelits that have since retired, but the “Deco Labels” #130102 would make a perfect substitution.
