Most Wonderful Time Framed Card Tutorial

  • Most
    Wonderful Time Project Medley

  • Card
    Stock
    –
    Whisper White (100730); Real Read (102482); Gold Foil Paper (146958)
  • Stamp
    Pads

    – Real Red ( 147084); Versa Mark (102283)
  • Misc.
    Embossing Buddy (103083); Gold Embossing Powder (109129); Heat Tool
    (129053); Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders (152325);
    Foam Adhesive Strips (141825); Snail Adhesive (104332); Stampin’
    Dimensionals (104430)
Measurements:
  • Whisper
    White (4 ¼” x 11” scored at 5 ½” & 3 ½” x 4 ½” &
    3 ½” x 1 ½”)
  • Real
    Red ( 3 ¼” x 4 ¼”)
  • White
    & Gold Star Paper from the Most Wonderful Time Project Medley (2
    ¾” x 3 ¾”)
  • Red
    & White Star Paper from the Most Wonderful Time Project Medley
    (4 ¼” x 5 ½”)
  • Green
    & Gold Star Paper from the Most Wonderful Time Project Medley (2
    ½” x 3 ½”)
  • Gold
    Foil Paper scrap
Instructions:
  1. Fold
    the Whisper White Cardstock (4 1/4″ x 11″) in half to
    create card base.
  2. Glue
    the Red & White Star Paper to the card front.
  3. Rub
    the embossing buddy over the green & gold star paper, stamp the
    tree in Versamark ink.
  4. Pour
    Gold Embossing powder over the tree and tap off excess powder and
    heat set.
  5. Cut
    the tree out with the coordinating Most Wonderful Time die and glue
    the tree to the center of the white and gold star paper.
  6. Cut
    out the Whisper White Cardstock 3 ½” x 4 ½” with the rectangle
    Heirloom Frames Die.
  7. Emboss
    the frame with the rectangle 3D Heirloom Frames embossing folder.
  8. Run
    strips of the Foam Adhesive around the backside of the frame and
    adhere to the white and gold star paper.
  9. Glue
    the white & gold star paper to the Real Red cardstock and then
    glue the Real Red to the center of the card.
  10. Stamp
    the packages in Real Red ink on the Whisper White Cardstock (3 ½”
    x 1 ½”).
  11. Run
    the embossing buddy over packages and stamp the bows with Versamark
    Ink and pour the Gold Embossing Powder over the top, tap off excess
    and heat set.
  12. Cut
    out the packages with the coordinating die.
  13. Glue
    one package to the lower right-hand side of the tree and another
    package to the left of it with dimensionals.
  14. Cut
    the Gold Foil paper with the star die and adhere to the top of the
    tree with a dimensional.
  15. Stamp
    sentiment in Real Red ink inside.
