Summer Smooch and Spring Fever Scrapbook Classes!
NEW! Serene Stampin’ Rewards!
View today’s newest downloads!

Hi Everyone!
I am still soooo excited about my blog’s new look! It’s exactly what I had envisioned and the amazing Michelle Laycock sure made it happen!  Just looking at this blog and seeing all the details that went into it just makes me happy.  I hope it does for YOU too!  Don’t forget about my give-away to celebrate the launching of my beautiful new blog – click HERE for details or scroll down to the previous post.

Coffee poured and ready to work, I wandered into my hobby room this morning to find it in a bit of messy state:

Yikes! What a mess! But so much fun…hee hee

Yesterday I made my brother a birthday card (my younger brother turns 40 on the 7th! holey moley).  For some reason I seem to leave the cards that have to be mailed until the very last minute and then I do a mad scramble to get them made and off to the post office.  Randy lives back in my home town of Comox, BC – and the mail from New Brunswick to British Columbia is a tad slow (our letters get to my Mother in Law in England faster than they do to Vancouver Island!).  So needless to say, everything was left out on the table, along with the remnants of other cards I’d been making recently.  I decided that before I filed my scraps away, I’d see if I could make a card using just what was in front of me.  I had some flowers left over from last month’s clubs and card classes, along with some of the new Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper.  This is what I came up with:

It’s amazing what you can create with those little treasures, hey?
Stamp Set: Just Believe
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Island Indigo
Ink: Black Stazon, Early Espresso
Misc: Fun Flowers die, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch (for the rose), Blossom Punch, Rhinestone,White Organza Ribbon and Hemp Twine, stampin’ sponge

I’ve got a full day ahead of me.  Besides getting this hobby room tidied up, I also want to get my Spring Fever scrapbook done to show every one the finished product.  This class will be on April 18th and all the details are here.  In this class we’ll be using the new SPRING FEVER SIMPLY SCRAPPIN’ KIT – it’s amazing.  This kit is loaded with embellishments, designer series paper, and 12×12 textured card stock.
The 6×6 scrapbook you’ll make in this class is unbelievably cute and what could be better than stamping with friends for a couple of hours and then going home with a scrapbook ready for all your photos?  RSVP for this class is due April 6th so contact me to reserve your spot!  Here’s a sneak peek at a couple of the pages:
By the way, did you click on the link at the top of this post to see today’s newest digital downloads?  Did you see THIS?

Seriously.  I may never surface from my hobby room – always too many things to make!
Have a great day and HAPPY STAMPING!

AvatarI joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
