“Ornamental Envelopes & Tag Buffet” Christmas Card Tutorial

Hi Friends! For this month’s “Leader’s Project Sheet Group” I decided to use the “Ornamental Envelopes” stamp set (which I’ve been LOVING) and the “Tag Buffet” set. This is a super easy card to make and the extra touch with the clear embossing adds a super shimmer & dimension to the stamped images!

Measurements:

Shaded
Spruce: 8 ½” x 5 ½”

Real
Red: 2 ¾” x 5 ½” , 4” x 5 ¼”

Whisper
White: 2 ½” x 5 ½” , 3 ¾” x 5”

Feels
Like Frost Designer Series Paper: ½” x 5 ½” (x 2)

Instructions:

1. Fold
   Shaded Spruce card stock in half to create card base.

2. Place
   2 ½” x 5 ½” Whisper White card stock on Stamparatus and stamp
   the ornaments with Shaded Spruce ink pad. Clean stamps and stamp
   again, this time with Versamark ink. Remove paper from Stamparatus,
   sprinkle with clear embossing powder, shake off excess and set with
   heat tool.

3. Place
   stamped piece back into Stamparatus and stamp bough above the
   ornaments with Versamark ink. Emboss with silver powder.

4. Place
   stamped piece back onto Stamparatus and stamp sentiment from “Tag
   Buffet” set with Real Red ink pad. Clean stamp and ink with
   Versamark and stamp again over the sentiment. Emboss with Clear
   Powder.

5. Use
   Blender Pen and Real Red ink to add colour to the ornaments. Add
   Clear Wink of Stella to ornaments.

6. Add
   Stampin’ Seal to back of stamped piece and place onto 2 ¾” X 5 ½”
   Real Red card stock layer; adhere to front of card.

7. Adhere
   the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper strips to top and bottome
   of card.

8. Add
   ribbon and rhinestones to ornaments.

9. For
   the inside of card: adhere the 4” x 5 ¼” Real Red card stock.

10. Use
    Versamark ink pad to stamp sentiment from “Tag Buffet” set onto
    3 ¾” x 5” Whisper White card stock. Sprinkle Silver Emboss
    Powder over top, shake off excess and set with heat tool.

11. Stamp
    holly & berries from “Tag Buffet” set with Shaded Spruce and
    Real Red ink pads. Use Blender Pen to pull the colour into the
    images.

12. Glue
    stamped layer inside card.
