Hi Friends! It’s a beautiful, sunny, minus 2 Saturday morning here in our little spot of Nova Scotia. It’s so hard hearing from my friends and family back on Vancouver Island when they tell me they’ve been gardening, cutting their lawns, enjoying all the blossoms. They’re so mean! LOL It’ll be a good month before we can even THINK about cutting our lawn and due to the frost we ALWAYS get – without fail – the third week of June, I won’t be doing any gardening for a couple of months yet. At least my rhubarb is starting to make an appearance, and the tips of my tulips, daffodils and bleeding heart plant are poking through the soil. So I must say, flowers are a welcome sight after the long winter we’ve had. Therefore, I couldn’t help but fall in LOVE with our new “Ornate Garden Suite” from Stampin’ Up! Here is the first card I made using some of the new products:
Truly a simple card, but I am absolutely smitten with the Designer Series Paper, dies and stamp sets. By the way, the photos online of the Ornate Garden DSP do NOT do it justice at all. I wasn’t completely ‘sold’ on this paper when I first saw it – to be honest – but lemme tell ya, I am SO HAPPY I bought it!!! It is now my absolute FAVOURITE! The patterns with all the flowers are beautiful and the reverse sides of the DSP are stunning, especially with the gold! I’ve since made quite a few more cards with the “Ornate Garden” products and I’ll be sharing them with you next week.
- All online orders will receive a hand stamped card in the mail (as long as I have your address!) and 12 step-by-step stamping tutorials will be emailed to you as token of my appreciation for your online order!
- At the end of each month everyone who ordered with me has their name put in a draw for a gift of Stampin’ Up! product (winner is chosen via random.org).
PS: WOW! I received sooo many emails and messages after I posted my video on HOW I create and edit videos for YouTube. I will be responding to all your questions today. I am so happy this video has helped so many of you!

Your card may be simple, as you stated, but sometimes those are the nicest. This card packs a punch. That DP is showcased beautifully.
