Hi Friends! Mother Nature tried to sneak in some snow yesterday, obviously forgetting it is SPRINGTIME, so I fought back by creating a card using bright colours and flowers! I pulled the “Petal Palette” stamp set from my shelf and started to play. Here’s my finished card:
I stamped the greenery with Emerald Envy ink to coordinate with the card base, then added some Bermuda Bay flowers. The flowers in the centre were coloured with my Watercolour Pencils and a blender pen. For the bird, I inked the stamp with Melon Mambo first, then used my markers with Rich Razzleberry on the wing, black on the beak and eye and grey for the feet. Then the colours were pulled together with my blender pen.
I finished the card by adding Clear Wink of Stella to all the stamped images and added a black twine bow and pearl. All in all, this card took maybe 15 minutes to make, start to finish and was a pleasure to create. Now I’ve got a card ready to give to someone special!
