Carve your own Stamps!

Hi Friends! Have you seen the new “Petite Petals” stamp set and co-ordinating punch yet? They’re absolutely adorable!  I used this bundle, along with the “Hello Lovely” stamp set, for my January Thank You cards for my customers.

Have you ever heard of a ‘One Sheet Wonder’?  If not, it’s a great way to mass produce cards and it’s what I did for these cards.  (Click HERE to see my blog post – way back in 2009 – for my One Sheet Wonder card holder).  For these thank you cards I took a sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock (I used Whisper White) and stamp the whole piece.  I inked up my Petite Petal stamps with So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush and I used Pistachio Pudding for the leaf stamp (from Secret Garden).  Once your whole sheet is stamped, simply cut into the pieces for multiple cards or projects.  In this case, I cut four pieces measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″ and then mounted on So Saffron card stock (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card base).  I stamped my sentiment, added some punched out flowers and a bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter and voila!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
