Pop of Petals Thank You Cards – Quick and Easy!

February 12, 2019 Leave a Comment

Hi Friends! One of my favourite and easy techniques is to simply ink up a stamp and then stamp it three times onto card stock, without reinking in between. This gives you a dark, medium and light image, using only one ink pad. Then I like to repeat this, using one or two other ink pads, working within the same colour family. Today’s cards are an example of this:

I used an image from the “Pop of Petals” stamp set, with Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry inks. The sentiment is from the “Butterfly Gala” stamp set, also using the same ink pads.

This card layout and stamping technique will work with all kinds of stamp images and colours – give it a try, I know you’ll have fun with it!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
