Punch Bunch Class a Big Hit!

March 16, 2011 Leave a Comment

Happy Wednesday! Boy, this week is flyin’ by!  Speaking of ‘flying’, can you say “Owl”?  I’m referring to the Owl Punch and the Punch Bunch stamp! Last night I had my Punch Bunch Class and we had a ball making our cards!  A couple of the gals had no desire to get the Owl Punch, UNTIL they saw it in action and now they LOVE it!  Last night’s stampers were Shelly, Denise, Beth, April and Kathy.  Here’s everything they received for their class projects:
The Two-Step Owl Punch and Punch Bunch stamp set (this set can not be purchased – you can only get for FREE, when you place a $60! Offer ends March 31, 2011)
Brights Collection Card Stock and a spool of 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon in Pumpkin Pie
Neutrals Collection Card Stock and a package of our lovely Pearls
Package of “Woodland Walk” Designer Series Paper.

All of the cards we made were a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) from cards I found online.  Unfortunately, I didn’t make a note of all those original posters – so if you recognize your design please let me know so that I can give you credit! So many times I’m asked where I get my ideas from – and a LOT of the time I CASE ideas I see online.  There are so many resources (Stampin’ Connection, Splitcoaststampers, Stampin’ Up! publications, Youtube, etc) – once you start ‘caseing’ you can simply tweak the original idea to make it your own.

Ok – onto the cards:

This card is sweet and simple – a quick, clean card.
(I cased the design from Brenda Taylor)

I love the layout of this card.
This is a great ‘boy’ card – I find the ‘male’ cards can sometimes be challenging.
(I cased this card from Monica Gale.  She. Is. AMAZING!)
The girls didn’t believe me last night that pink, orange and green COULD work as a combo – I think they were pleasantly surprized.  What do you think of this color combination?
Did you know that you can make tulips using the Owl Punch? You can actually make a TON of different things using this punch – I’ve even seen cute little PIGS!
This card was a HIT! All the girls plan on making this quick card next Halloween.  Except for the ‘Happy Halloween’ sentiment, there’s no stamping – it’s all in the punches!
And now, my very favorite – a card I totally cased from Monica Gale….
…..are you ready for it?
THIS card will make you smile……
TA DA! Ca-uuuuute or WHAT?
Sale-a-Bration is OVER in less than three weeks, so book your workshop today – or place an order here to get your own PUNCH BUNCH stamp set! You’ll LOVE it as much as we do!
Have a great day and HAPPY STAMPING!
PS – ALL supplies for the above cards can be purchased through my Online Store and delivered directly to your door! If you place on online order with me you could also win my free Stamp Set of the Month (click on tab at top of page for details!).

AvatarI joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
