Quick Birthday Card

March 11, 2015 1 Comment

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!  We woke up to rain this morning – which made me very happy…it means that Spring has FINALLY hit the East Coast! We were still getting snow a couple of days ago. So I’ll happily take the rain.  I actually don’t mind the rain – being raised on Vancouver Island will do that to you, I guess! LOL I’m just so anxious for all the snow to melt and even seeing the pavement show through in spots on our driveway is pretty darn exciting.  Doesn’t take much to keep ME happy, hey?

I have a super easy & fast card to share with you today.  I used the “Choose Happiness” stamp set, inked the flowers with Calypso Coral & the leaves with Old Olive.  Once the images where inked up I spritzed lightly with water. I sponged the edges and stamped the sentiment (from “Butterfly Basics”) using Memento ink.  Voila – a card in under 5 minutes!

AvatarI joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

Pretty, Tina. We're in Charleston South Carolina, and "spring is popping out all over" here too. Our cats spent the day in the sun on our screened in patio! Two happy girls, LOL
Thanks for sharing your lovely card, hugs Jess
