Quick & Easy Christmas Card with “Peaceful Cabin” Stamp Set

September 28, 2021 4 Comments

Sometimes a simple design layout is the one we love the most, right? Today’s card is one of those layouts. It’s truly quick and easy to make, which is ideal when you are making a few Christmas cards!

For these cards, I used the GORGEOUS “Peaceful Cabin” stamp set, which is also available as a bundle, with coordinating dies & even as a suite (with tons of coordinating products!).

I also pulled in a set of decorative masks to add a fun background to my cards (our stencils seriously ROCK). I hope you enjoy today’s video demonstration!

Measurements:

  • Real Red: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″ and fold in half for card base
  • Basic Black: 5 1/4″ x 4″ , 3 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ (die cut)
  • Very Vanilla: 5″ x 3 3/4″ , 2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″ (die cut)

Tips: if you’re new to stamping and/or you simply don’t own our Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, omit using the dies and cut your stamped & scalloped pieces of card stock with your paper trimmer. Your card will still look GREAT! This card would also look terrific just by switching the red card stock and using green, with coordinating green ink! Lastly, change these from Christmas cards by using different sentiments and images. This card layout is so versatile – I hope you have FUN with it!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

Your cards are beautiful! I was wondering what that little critter was, a fox or a cat!? Great video!
