Hi Friends! Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who live in Canada – I hope you had a wonderful long weekend with your friends and family. My hubby and I had guests from Australia staying with us last week, so I made an early Thanksgiving dinner so that they could enjoy it with us. Otherwise, it was a quiet weekend but such a nice one – we spent most of it working outdoors (it was 22′ and sunny!) and getting our house and yard ready for winter. We also had a big windfall of apples so I’ve been picking them off the ground non stop (they are soooo yummy!) and making everything from apple butter, apple jam and apple pie filling and we’re even going to try our hand at making hard apple cider! We also found a massive bunch of black currant bushes on our property – so excited about that. Next year we’ll definitely be harvesting them for crumbles and jams.
I’ve got a cute card to share with you today. It’s based on a card swap from Lorri Heiling during our Founder’s Circle Retreat last month. Lori always comes up with the sweetest cards and her roast turkey punch art was no exception! Using Lorri’s Roast Turkey Punch Art as my inspiration, here’s the card I created with it:
I even made a video for ya, to show you how quick and easy this is to put together:
