Speaking of classes, last night I held my Valentines Chicks & Chocolate Class – we had a ball! The response to this class was excellent so I split it into two classes, on two different nights. I prefer the smaller classes – that way there’s more one-on-one time with everyone and the class doesn’t run over late. Here’s some photos of our projects:

This is the recipe book we made – specifically for Valentine desserts!

Here are the gals that came out last night!

This project is called a paper bag book and I LOVE making these! There are so many ideas you can use it for! Scrapbook, mementos, journalling, gardening (include packages of seeds), tuck in some gift cards, hot cocoa packs, inspiration book, favorite verses or quotes, etc etc!

Everyone received 6 recipe cards – including three bonus chocolate recipes. Once printed, you simply stamp the recipe card image on top, using the stamp-a-ma-jig.
Chocolate truffles were thoroughly enjoyed, and rounded out with fresh pears and grapes!

The stamp sets we used were ‘Love You Much‘ and ‘From the Kitchen of“.

I completed this book earlier in the day and filled the pockets with all those loose recipes that lie around the house, on top of the microwave, in the drawers, etc. It’s nice to have a spot to put them now. I’m going to make more books for main courses, salads, etc for all the other loose recipes I’ve literally got everywhere throughout my house!

I love ‘Taste of Home‘ and have been collecting their recipes for years!

Pockets are filling up with recipe cards!

We also made a super quick wine tag – the ladies loved learning how to use the Heat & Stick powder with the glitter.

What a fun class! I look forward to the next one! Contact me if you’d like to learn how to make any of the above projects too! Perfect for gift-giving!!!

Enjoy the day and HAPPY STAMPING!

AvatarI joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
