The Serene Stamper’s Show & Tell

October 25, 2010 Leave a Comment

I love, love, love being a part of the Stampin’ Up!® family of demonstrators. I also love the amazing & wonderful members of my downline group, “The Serene Stampers”. As their upline, I am committed to supporting them and helping each demonstrator to acquire the information and tools necessary to be successful.

In addition to the income opportunities available as a home-based business owner, I know that my team will love the personal experiences of being a demonstrator. One of the greatest benefits of my involvement with Stampin’ Up! has been the chance to develop lasting relationships with people I might not have otherwise met—all while doing something I love! And I am very lucky – and BLESSED – for the close friendships I have made with my downline. Some of these ladies are now my dearest friends and I know we’ll have a friendship that will last a lifetime.

It is very exciting for me to meet new people who also want to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and part of my team!!! Because I know that YOU’RE just going to LOVE being a demonstrator!

Whatever your initial goals may be—from getting free product to supplementing your family’s income—I encourage you to contact me today to learn more about becoming a demonstrator – or you can sign up online and become a demonstrator immediately! Simply click here – watch the video, then click the ‘JOIN NOW’ button on the left side of the screen.
The password you’ll need is ‘Serene’. That’s it! Easy peasy!

My downline and I like to have group gatherings once a month, which allows us to exchange stamping and business ideas, recognize each other’s successes, strengthen our relationships, and provide support and encouragement to one another. As some of my downline lives out of province we use Skype and/or speaker phone as well as email – technology can sure be AMAZING at times!

Our group loves to stamp together so we always plan to do plenty of this whenever we get together. We also like to learn new techniques and ideas from each other so we love ‘show and tell’ and card swaps. The Serene Stampers’ meeting this month was a douzy with LOTS of terrific card samples so I thought I’d the cards with YOU!

Kim – a fellow demonstrator (not in my downline) – and new friend – joined us too! Here’s a sweet photo of Cathy (in the brown) from ‘The Serene Stampers’ and Kim. Look at those smiles! Soooo pretty!

FYI: You don’t have to be a demonstrator in my downline to participate in my monthly meetings – ALL demonstrators are invited! The more the merrier! Kim brought super cute samples and I just loved the tic-tac holder – shown below.

And Cathy has been kickin’ butt with all of her amazing cards! WOWSERS! Here’s a really pretty one, using the new Stampin’ Up! fabric (among other new bling and fun items from the current Holiday Mini).

As I’m posting so many photos, I’m not going to add all the details of stamp sets & supplies used. If there’s something you see that strikes your fancy, let me know and I’ll be happy to get the info to you.

Let’s get on to the samples, shall we?

I showed the girls some of the ‘simple’ cards I’ve been making. Sometimes it’s easy to forget how EASY and QUICKLY we can make a card – and with stunning results! I love layering my card stock, adding ribbon and glitter – but I must say, I LOVE these crisp, clean cards too. It just really goes to show that stamps, ink and paper are all you really need to start creating!

Using the ‘Just Believe’ stamp set (that I received free at convention this past July!) I added Stampin’ Up! markers directly to the stamp, instead of using an ink pad.

Using the same marker technique as above – this time with the “Upsy Daisy” stamp set.

I ‘thumped’ my markers on the flower. This is a lovely Hostess One set that you can earn FREE just for having a workshop!

One of my all time fav. sets “Inspired by Nature”

Another Hostess Set “Apple Blossoms”

“Inspired by Nature”

Look what Cathy made!….
…it’s a gift card holder! Love it!

Kim’s card – using “Lovely as a Tree” – one of Stampin’ Up!’s all time best selling stamp sets!

Super fun card created by Kim. Sooooo cute!!!

Another adorable card by Kim – I’m lovin’ the penguins (and the Jolly Holly DSP)

How sweet is this card? Cathy adds some bling with Stampin’ Up’s new buttons and ribbon!

Ok. Let me just say that Cathy blew my mind while I watched her make this card. I NEVER would have thought of using this stamp for the branches…can you guess what it is and the stamp set it’s from? Clever, Cathy. Lovin’ the pearls too! Gorgeous!

WOW. A creation from Cathy.

I made a whole whack of these cards for the fundraiser I participated in this past week – in Sussex, for a Mammogram Machine needed at their local health centre.

Another fab card from Kim!

Can you say “Caaa-uuuttttte?” Love it, Kim!

This is a gift item I made for someone.

I also added a gift card holder. I was really pleased with how this turned out.

Oh my gosh- how I love these 3×3 cards created by Shallon – these were made for her customers! Like me, Shallon adds a personal thank you card in each of her customer’s orders.

Shallon made this card with her copy of the ‘Stampin’ Success’ magazine article as her inspiration – I know because I just had to try it too!! LOL Lovely job, Shallon!

WOW! Shallon did an amazing job with that medallion stamp!!!!

Shallon made this card with a two-step stampin’ Hostess Set – LOVE the colours, Shallon!!!

That’s it for me.

HAPPY STAMPING!

PS- stay tuned for another fantastic Jamie Oliver recipe (see my recipe page) – I am sooo hooked on his recipes!!! I’ve got to start growing all my herbs inside soon, with winter on the way. Good food helps you stamp better. It’s true. *wink*

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
