Snow is Glistening Card Tutorial

Supplies:
  • Stamp
    Sets:
    Snow
    is Glistening (149742)
  • Card
    Stock:

    Thick Whisper White (140272), Shimmery White (101910), Blackberry
    Bliss (133675), White Velveteen Sheets (149619)
  • Ink:
    Blackberry Bliss (147092)
  • Other:
    Aqua Painter (103954), Snowfall Thinlits Dies (149692), Clear
    Rhinestones (144220), Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (143263),
    Magnetic Platform (130658), Mini Glue Dots (103683), SNAIL adhesive
    (104332)
Measurements:
  • Thick
    Whisper: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”
  • Blackberry
    Bliss: 5” x 3 3/4”, scrap for snowflake
  • Shimmery
    White: 4 3/4” x 3 1/2”
  • White
    Velveteen: 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” for snowflake
Instructions:
  1. Squeeze
    the closed Blackberry Bliss ink pad to get some ink on the lid. Open
    the pad and use the Aqua Painter to squeeze some water onto the ink.
    Pick up the ink and “wash” it across the Shimmery White
    cardstock. Start light. You can always go back and add more color.
  2. Using
    the Big Shot, cut out snowflakes as shown from the Snowfall
    Thinlits.
  3. Once
    the Shimmery White cardstock is dry, attach it to the Blackberry
    Bliss layer and then to the Thick Whisper White card base.
  4. Attach
    the snowflakes using Mini Glue Dots.
  5. Add
    a rhinestone to the center of the snowflakes.
  6. Using
    Blackberry Bliss ink, stamp Joy.

    My favourite colours for Christmas are pink, lime green and turquoise, so I'm really loving this card. Love how the snowflake pops with the pink background.
