2013 Spring Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration SNEAK PEEK Event!

Are these cute are WHAT?  This is a project that all of my stamp clubs have been making this month and everyone just LOVES them – and they’re so much FUN to make!  These snowman tealights are incredibly popular right now – just type it into google search and you’ll see what I mean.  I originally found this idea on Becky Robert’s blog and just KNEW the lovely ladies in my clubs would want to make them – and I was right!  LOL  One of my club members made the tealights into a class project for the elementary students she teaches and added a magnet on the back of them. Good idea! The children in her class used black markers instead of the pearls to make the snowman’s face.  Another club member suggest glueing on a jewellery safety pin to make into a brooch.  Clever!  I turned mine into hanging ornaments by adding some bakers twine.  These would also be cute to embellish Christmas gifts or tucked into gift baskets.  Kids of all ages will smile when they see this little snowman with it’s glowing nose!

See how easy these are to make:

These tealights would also be cute as an embellishment for gifts in mason jars (always popular!) like the “Snowman Soup” ~ recipe can be found HERE.

I also cased the box from Becky Roberts.  I’ve made lots of similar boxes, but Becky’s measurements are bang on for these tealights.  It’s also the perfect box to make for homemade truffles, jewellery, etc.

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
