To say that the Stampin’ Up! Convention in Salt Lake City totally WOWED me is a HUGE understatement! It was everything I had hoped it would be and soooooooo much more! In a nutshell (and because I’m exhausted!) I will tell you that the classes and all that I learned were fabulous and super informative – from demonstrations and techniques to how to run a successful (and FUN) business. It was exactly what I needed as I am now a full time Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! Also, I met incredible demonstrators from all over North America and made some wonderful new friends (hello Christine and Rose!). I met demo’s from Kentucky to Wisconsin to Calgary and even France! Gals that I wished lived closer so that we could stamp and share business ideas on a regular basis. Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are so supportive, warm and FUN – it’s truly a ‘sisterhood’ of incredible ladies! In all honesty I can say becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator (back in April 2002) was hands down one of the best decisions I have ever made. Convention just confirmed that fact – though I already knew it. And you know what I believe is the very best thing about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator? The relationships that I have made with my customers – who have become dear friends. I am truly blessed.
So on that note, I’m going to close with some photos and then hit the hay and get some much needed sleep. Over the next few days I’ll be adding tons more photos that I know you’ll enjoy seeing, so check back often. There were also a lot of fun surprises and announcements (like the option of EXPEDITED shipping finally available in Canada – WOO HOO!) as well as samples of projects made with products from the soon to be released Winter Mini that I LOVE LOVE LOVE! I’ll post those photos once the mini is released….hee hee. Something for you to look forward to – trust me!
HAPPY STAMPING!

Halloween projects demonstrated by the fabulously talented Brent Steel – check out the haunted house and Lumieres! The pumpkins were spray painted with white and then decor elements were applied. How easy!

Opening General Session featured live music – this year’s Theme Song – that was just excellent!!!

Time for me to do some STAMPING!

This is where the ‘magic’ happens!

Demonstrations during our General Sessions were WONDERFUL! I can’t wait to make these projects for YOU in your workshops as well as in my upcoming classes.

This is myself and Colleen – my very first downline (back in 2002). Colleen lives in Courtenay, BC and it was great to reconnect with her!

Click on the above photo to see close ups of the samples!
The following photos were taken in the “Sweet Shoppe” – ALL made out of SU product, of course!
I’ll be having a Post-Convention Workshop this Friday night featuring some items and projects – as well as TONS of samples – from convention. Please contact me if you’d like to attend! Also, if you’d like to book your own workshop, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’d be happy to show you and your friends how to make some cards while YOU – the hostess – earns FREE stamps and product!!! I’ll be updating my calendar with upcoming classes featuring Christmas cards and handmade gifts as well as my new scrapbooking club! Stay tuned for the details.
