Serene Stamper Rewards – FREE Stamps!

Hi Everyone! Whew! What a great week I’ve been having!  I’ve been having awesome workshops and classes, my UPS man has been visiting me regularly (*wink*) and I’ve been having a heck of a good time playing with all the new stamps and accessories from the 2012-2013 Catalogue!  Add to that working in our yard and garden, enjoying the sunshine, going for walks with my DH and our pooch…

Nothing beats the tranquillity of an early morning walk.
I don’t know what takes my breath away more; the scenery or my DH… *wink* Both.
Yup, that there is a mug of my favorite ‘Just Us’ coffee…
This is why I’m either barefoot or in sandals 90% of the time in the summer…you just never know when you’ll end up wading in the water.

… and I’ve even gotten back into running!  Which is a good thing, considering I’ve got a 5K run coming up on July 1st.  I would have signed up for the 10K run (I’ve done the 10K Vancouver Sun Run twice) but I’ve only just gotten back into running, so I think I may pass on that one for this year! LOL  I would love to be back in the 10K running shape by next year though, so we’ll see.  I’ve just spent my grocery budget for the next year on stamps, so running is about all I’ll be able to afford to do! HA!

Those of you who have seen the new 2012-2013 catalogue have been telling me that you LOVE it as much as I do.  Aren’t all those stamps and tools FUN?  Oh my.  And as if it weren’t enough to keep us sleepless at night, thinking about all the cards, scrapbooks, and projects we want to make,  I’m here to tell ya, there’s more. MUCH MORE.  MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE! Today I saw the new Holiday Catalogue for the first time.  There’s a reason why it’s called a ‘catalogue’ and not a ‘mini’ any longer.  Can you say FORTY pages of holiday goodness?  Holey carumba.  I am beyond excited and I am truly overwhelmed.  Stampin’ Up! has gone way above and beyond.  So brace yourself.  And don’t say I didn’t warn ya.  Pick up every empty can you find on the side of the road.  Forgo those extra large coffees and donuts.  Walk or ride your bike to work so that you can put that gas money aside. Grow your own garden.  Cuz I’m telling you, you’re going to want every stinkin’ thing in that Holiday Catalogue.  ‘Nuff said.  *wink* Oh! I forgot to mention; this catalogue won’t be out until August 1st, but demonstrators can pre-order July 1st.  So click HERE if you want to be a demonstrator!

Ok – onto today’s video.  This is a card I demonstrated at my workshop this past weekend and it was also the make and take project.  I completely copied it from the new catalogue (doncha just love all those beautiful photos of projects?! Wow.).

This card uses the new “Embellished Events” stamps – a great all-occasion set:

And the fun new In Colour Dahlias:

 On with the show:

NEW! 2012-2014 In Colour Markers: Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit and Raspberry Ripple

Kicked up a notch with the new Dahlias!

By the way, if you’ve been one of my workshop/private card class hostesses or club member during July 2011-June 2012 your invitation for my exclusive 10th Annual Hostess Appreciation Dinner has been mailed. You should receive by today at the latest – so be sure to let me know if you haven’t gotten yours. You won’t want to miss it! I’m super exited about this year’s event! If you’d like to get in on the fun there’s still time for you to have a workshop this month – just contact me at serenestamper@gmail.com.

HAPPY STAMPING!

PS- the winner of my free stamp give-away this past Friday was SAMANTHA WARMAN! Way to go Sam! Enjoy your new stamp set (I know you will!)  If you’d like to find out how to get in on my Friday free stamp set give-away, sign up for my monthly newsletter (sign up box is on my side bar).    xo

AvatarI joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
