Hi Everyone!
Last night I was stampin’ with the local Girl Guides and the girls had a ball! We made Christmas tags, using the ‘Tags Till Christmas’ stamp set from the Holiday Mini, with the coordinating punches. We then punched some holes to thread in some twine, popped all the tags into a cellophane bag and tied with a bow – perfect gift for them (and their parents) to use for wrapping all their Christmas presents. I forgot to mention, once the guides had punched out their tags they grabbed the glue sticks and got into the glitter. And I mean glitter. Lord, I love those girls – they were speaking my language! If you know me, you’ll know how much I LOVE glitter! One of the little girls even had glitter on her face and in her hair! Perfect! LOL I can only imagine when the teacher and students went into the classroom today – I hope we cleaned up MOST of the glitter from the desks and floor – it got EVERYWHERE! Reminded me of my hobby room! LOL Fun times! I look forward to stamping with this great group of lovely guides again soon.
I’ve been having so much fun at my workshops and classes! No surprise there – I ALWAYS have fun – and so do the ladies! This is the perfect time to host a workshop, with Christmas fast approaching. I’ve been showing how to make cards, gift tags, tile coasters and other gift items. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to create wonderful gifts for your friends and family – and they’ll love them even more because YOU made it! If you would like to book your own workshop, I’ve got two openings left in December (yes, your goodies WILL arrive in time for Christmas and you will have time to craft some projects before the 25th). So give me a shout if you’d like to reserve a workshop date.
Also, don’t forget about the Starter Kit promotion – it’s 50% off – and all the details can be found in my earlier postings. There’s less than a week left to get in on this fantastic deal!
Here’s some samples of the cards I’ve been demonstrating in some of my classes and workshops this month:
I hope these inspire you to take some time to be creative and squeeze in some fun – and relaxation – into your day! Just put on some favorite music (Christmas carols!), grab a cup of hot cocoa and get your stamps – and ‘Dazzling Diamonds’! LOL Also, if you need to order card stock, envelopes, etc for your holiday projects, be sure to let me know and I’ll get them ordered for you. OR you can simply order them through my 24/7 online store at www.serenestamper.stampinup.net. When you order online you can also take advantage of the clearance rack AND the Online Spectacular sale that’s going on right now and ends November 9th.
HAPPY STAMPING!
