Summer Mini Convention Card Samples!

August 22, 2011 2 Comments

Happy Monday, Everyone! Well, I have to tell ya – it is POURING and I do mean POURING rain here! Ick! It almost feels like a ‘light the wood stove, make the chili‘ kind of day ~ which shouldn’t happen until Autumn, in my opinion! LOL  Oh well, it’s a good excuse for stamping, since you can’t work outdoors!  Today I’m sharing some fantastic card samples that I received during my card swaps at Convention last month.  All of these stamp sets are in the current Summer Mini, which expires next week ~ so if there’s a set you’re in LOVE with, get it before August 31st.

This was my Mom’s card she made for her swaps – isn’t it GORGEOUS?? (Mom’s a demo in Oklahoma)

Enjoy the day and HAPPY STAMPING!

At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…

Tina, these are wonderful! I am particularly drawn to the one with the ship in the ships wheel. Do you have any idea what they used to make the spokes on the ships wheel? I would love to know…andersonshel@gmail.com

Hi Shel! I wondered the same thing and asked the demonstrator that made it – she's so clever! LOL! She used the CURLY LABEL punch! Just put the card stock into the punch, then turn it around and punch it again. Tip – use a post it note to slide small pieces of card stock into punched. Hope this helps!
