Time to say Good Bye

June 2, 2011 Leave a Comment

Have you seen the retirement list yet?  Wowsers! Practically the entire Definitely Decorative Line is retiring and a lot of our stamp sets and accessories are saying good bye forever. You can view all the retiring items by clicking on the buttons on my sidebar or on the above links.

In case you’re not familiar with Stampin’ Up!’s “Last Chance” promotion, this happens every June and the retiring product is necessary to make room for NEW stamp sets and accessories which will be in the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalogue!  The items on the retired list are only available until June 30th so you’ll have to order your favorites before they’re gone – and believe me, items go FAST! Especially the accessories so don’t delay in ordering and stock up on your favorites!!!

Also, there is a “Last Chance Discount Product” section available only through my online store, with savings of 25% to 40% off selected retiring products! These will go REALLY FAST! There’s everything from ribbon, watercolor crayons, chalks, decor elements, and even AWESOME Big Shot dies!!! These seriously rock! I have the pennant die and the baskets and blooms die which I LOVE so if these are on your wish list get’em while you can!!!!

Take advantage of the savings by clicking HERE.
All online orders of a min. $50 (excluding tax & shipping) that are placed through my Online store during the month of June will enter you into a draw for a $50 shopping spree with the new catalogue! Draw will be July 1st.

On to other things, I’ve been up to a lot lately.  I’ve been helping my dear friend (and fellow SU demonstrator) get ready for her wedding this Fall. I’m honored to be her Maid of Honor so I scooted to Nova Scotia this past weekend to help her finish her wedding invitations (stamped of course) and help her find her wedding dress (and she did!).  Here’s a photo of Shallon and I, with her step-mom and soon to be sister in law (who’s also a demonstrator!) making Shallon’s invitations:

Shallon’s wedding colors are based on the Lap of Luxury Designer Series Paper which are Concord Crush (Shallon’s favorite color is purple), Pretty in Pink, Basic Grey and Very Vanilla. Her invitations are truly lovely and we’ll be making all the decorations and favors with Stampin’ Up! products (ie. flowers cut with the Big Shot, etc).  In fact, we’re having a Bridal Shower, Stampin’ Up! style with all the guests contributing towards the supplies (as their gifts) and then we’ll be creating the decoration at the shower! Along with food, games and other bridal shower stuff of course! How fun is that?!

I recently held a scrapbook class featuring the “Playful Polka Dots” Simply Scrapping Kit – we had a ball.  In two hours we each completed a total of 18 pages!  All from ONE SS Kit! The 12×12 albums that were included in this class are on the Last Chance too so get yours before they’re GONE!

I also had a class at the Family Resource Centre this past week – we made cork memo boards with fabric flowers made with the Big Shot, which was a BIG HIT! Everyone’s memo boards turned out GREAT and we had a super fun time!

I needed to add an owl to my board…hee hee!

Don’t forget to check out my calendar of events for this month – I’ve got LOTS going on! I’m also hosting a “Retirement Party” on June 10th AND there is a Chicks & Chocolate party at my friend Bernice’s home on June 5th – all are welcome to attend! Please contact me ASAP to RSVP.

HAPPY STAMPING!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
