Hi Everyone! Sorry this post is so late – I had a crazy busy day getting ready for tonight’s team meeting with my ‘Serene Stampers’ group (and our adopted demonstrators whom I adore). We had SO MUCH fun!!!! Kim demonstrated a super neat way to make any size envelope using the diagonal plate with our Simply Scored. I demonstrated a quick and easy way to turn a 12×12 piece of Designer Series Paper into a really neat gift card holder (I can’t stop making these – they’re so pretty with our double sided paper). I will definitely be posting a video on these so that you can make them too. I also show you how Kim made the envelopes – they’re great. My envelopes are going to get pretty fancy-pancy – just a heads up! LOL. We had a great card swap – the theme was any stamp set in the new catalogue. Then everyone made two cute make and take cards using “Betsy’s Blossom” and “Layered Labels” – I’ll post them tomorrow. At our meetings (aka as our ‘Stamping Nights!’…) we also recognise those who have achieved top 3 sales, promotions, etc and names go into the ‘Royalty Pot’ for a prize. Tonight Vi DeBow won (she was #3 in sales! YAY Vi!) and she won a set of the new 2012-2014 In Colour Markers. Each month we have a raffle too and this month Leigh Nice won some goodies – she received the 1″ Square Punch (which she LOVED because she doesn’t have a square punch) and Leigh also received one of the exclusive water glasses I got from Stampin’ Up! while in Disney. I also had a ton of new product on display for everyone to check out – the new DSP, new stamps, new bolts of ribbon, new vintage faceted buttons (these are gorgeous), the new dahlia buttons and more. And when we have get togethers, along with the stamping we’ve got to have a treat too. Everyone wanted the recipe and it’s so easy you wouldn’t believe it (thanks to my friend Kathy, who made it for me for lunch earlier this week – now we’re all addicted to it). It’s called Pumpkin Fluff. You can make it decadent with real whipped cream, or weight watcher friendly with low fat cool whip. You can also have it in a little dish with a sprinkling of crushed nuts or as a dip, as we did tonight, with Graham crackers…. mega YUM!
1 (3.5 oz.) package instant vanilla pudding mix (you can use butterscotch instead).
1 (15 oz.) can solid pack pumpkin
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (I used Watkins Cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves)
Directions
In
a large bowl, mix together instant vanilla pudding mix, pumpkin and
pumpkin pie spice. Fold in the thawed frozen whipped topping. Chill in
the refrigerator until serving. This would be wickedly awesome with some of those skor bits too. Maybe a drizzle of caramel sauce…. Mmmmm!
Here’s today video – nothing fancy. But I’ve got to tell ya, those Water Colour Crayons are the coolest. You can use them other ways than shown in the video too. And if you haven’t got the “Inspired by Nature” stamp set yet, well, you’ve got to hurry up and boogie over to my online store, because in less than an hour it will be gone forever! Retired to the sandy beaches in the sun somewhere. So get it while you can!
I can’t wait for the new catalogue to go live tomorrow! Have you seen the catalogue? If not, you’ll be able to view it online tomorrow – just go to my website at www.serenestamper.stampinup.net. You’ll also be able to shop through my store and get your new goodies.
I’m off to bed!
I’ll be dreaming of all the new stamps and accessories coming our way….
HAPPY STAMPING
