"Parisian Beauty" Card Tutorial

Hi Friends! Happy Monday to you! I hope you had a nice weekend. We had a bit of a snowstorm yesterday. I would say we got about a foot of snow and lots of wind. Our power tends to go out a lot during storms but we're prepared with our generator and wood stove. I finished putting all the Christmas decorations away, which inevitably leads to thorough house cleaning and rearranging the furniture and decor (at least it always does for me). While it's always a bit sad to put the decorations away, it does look and feel nice to have the house 'back to normal'. I couldn't resist leaving the pine garland and lights up above the kitchen cabinets though!

This morning I created an easy and pretty card for this month's "Leader's Project Sheet Group". I used a simple masking and sponging technique and the new "Parisian Beauty" stamp set. This stamp set is really lovely and I have so many ideas I can't wait to try with it. For today's card, however, I wanted to use minimal supplies, and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out! This card layout is brilliant for many other stamp sets - and dies - too.
