How to Create a Winter Sky & Snowbanks

Hi Friends! Well, lemme tell ya...I had an absolute blast making today's card! It was a good thing that I had the foresight to film the process, in the chance it would be a card worth sharing because I think you may like it as much as I do! I love creating scenic backgrounds with inks, sponges and the masking technique - something I knew that I would be doing on my card. I also knew that I wanted to use the "In the Pines" stamp set. What I didn't know was that I'd be pulling a 'moose' into the mix! The end result was a Christmas card that I will be setting aside for my Sweetheart!

Sponging and masking are two techniques made for each other - and together they make magic! It's so amazing to me how these techniques can transform plain white card stock into a beautiful winter sky and snowbanks! I hope you enjoy today's card and demonstration...
