Hi Friends! I’m still in Comox (Vancouver Island) at my Dad’s house. His surgery went well (thank goodness) and he’s out of the hospital. Dad’s recovery is going to take a bit of time so I changed my flight and will fly back to Nova Scotia a week later than I planned. Fortunately, I had filmed a couple of cards I had made prior to coming to BC (I’m a smart cookie, hey?).
Today’s video shows two cards that I created using pretty much the same design and techniques. However, one is a “Thank You” card with a flower and the second is a Christmas card with snowflakes!
Both of these cards were easy and lots of fun to make. If you have been following me for some time you’ll know that I tend to reach for my “Gorgeously Made Bundle” a LOT. I had no idea when I bought these stamps and dies that I’d use them as much as I have. You can see some different ways I’ve used this bundle by clicking here & here.
For my Christmas card, I tweaked the same card design but this time I used the “Sparkling Snowflakes” stamp set and “Chic Dies”. There is also a punch that coordinates with the “Sparkling Snowflakes” stamps, which you can get as a bundle too! I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that I could use the snowflake die from the “Chic Dies” with the “Sparkling Snowflakes” stamp set!
I hope you enjoyed today’s demonstration and that you’ll take away some ideas and tips that you can use on your cards too!
