Crafting With You Card | VIDEO - Tina Zinck, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Hi Friends. It snowed today. It is MAY. Seriously BAH HUMBUG. Fortunately, the snow didn’t stick, but at one point it was really coming down.

Instead of getting cranky about the weather, I looked at the white flakes as ‘liquid fertilizer’ for all my plants and flowers that are starting to poke through the ground AND I decided I’d play with my stamps. Instantly I felt better. Especially as I played with NEW stamps, dies, inks, card stocks, and embellishments. Really, could it get any better than that?

I am currently typing this blog post in my cozy sunroom that my husband and I built last summer. The fireplace is on, and our furbabies are stretched out on the floor and chairs, enjoying the warmth of the fire. We’re having a late supper tonight, as I’m still working to get today’s card and video uploaded. I have a pan of spicy Thai basil chicken & noodles simmering on the stove and to say that our house smells divine right now is an understatement. Add in a glass of red wine and a wonderful husband to enjoy dinner and the evening with….well, life is good. I’m feeling very grateful.

I knew that I wanted to use the new “Crafting With You” bundle:

As I scanned through my stamp sets, my eyes landed on the turtle image from the “Playing in the Rain” set. “He’d be some cute, as a little painter”. The rest, as they say, is history. Thank goodness I decided to film the process because I was truly delighted with my finished card and I’m happy to share it with you!
