Feel like Stamping? Here’s a Colour Combo & Card Layout!

Hi Friends! Yesterday I started something new with my “Serene Stampers” group – a stamping challenge! I thought I’d share this with YOU too because it’s pretty darn FUN! Pick at least THREE (or more) colours from the combination and follow the layout:

If you’re in a creative ‘rut’ this will shake you out of it! Sometimes you just need a little starting point, right? Here’s my card from this challenge:



At first I wasn’t sure about the colour combination but it’s now a new FAVOURITE – it’s so ‘vintage-y‘. The flowers are from the “Petal Palette” stamp set and the sentiment is from the new “Butterfly Gala” stamp set (available January 3, 2019). 


This was a pretty simple card to make! After I stamped the flowers I used my aqua painters and ink pads to colour and then added a touch of Wink Of Stella for shimmer. I ran the Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo strips through the Big Shot with embossing folders and finished the card with a couple of rhinestones. If you don’t have a Big Shot, don’t worry, this is still a great layout even without the added texture. So make a cup of tea, pop on some music and have some happy moments stamping and creating this weekend!
