My Top Ten Retiring Stamp Sets – #10

Hi Friends! It’s time again for my annual “Top Ten Retiring Stamp Sets”! I’ve been doing this for about 8 years now and the stamps are in no particular order, but ones I have LOVED creating with. Remember, the products in our  “Last-Chance Products Sale” are available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

High Tide #143006

Ok, friends, I have to be honest – THIS IS MY VERY FAVOURITE STAMP SET that is retiring! I have used it SO MUCH, both on its own and combined with other stamp sets. I LOVE these images! I made a card with this set a few years ago that turned out to be my most favourite card I’d ever made and I STILL have it on display in my stamp room.

This next card was a fun and easy one to make, creating a quick background using ink pads:

“Sailing Home and High Tide Card with Ink Swipe Background”

High Tide with Paper Pumpkin “Grown with Kindness” Set:

The above card is a simple design but I really loved how it turned out. Photos and details can be seen HERE.

The “High Tide” stamp set even works well for Christmas cards, which is ideal for those of us who live on the coast, surrounded by lighthouses!

After I posted this card on my blog I received many requests for a video demonstration:

I love stamping techniques and I combined the Faux Mother of Pearl technique with the “High Tide” stamp set:

Simple Stamping with the “Sailing Home” stamp set & “Smooth Sailing Dies:

These cards were super duper easy to make and for each card I only used one ink pad and coordinating card stock!

As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, I love incorporating the images from the “High Tide” stamp set with other sets, as I did here:

The stamp with the birds from the “High Tide” set is so awesome – I use it ALL THE TIME! This is a card that I made using the “By the Bay” 2019 Sale-a-bration stamp set and sunset background. You can see more photos and details HERE.
