Quiet Meadow “Thinking of You” Card

May 20, 2021 4 Comments

Hi Friends! Last month I participated in a card swap with our “Canadian Achievers” group. This is the card that I made:

I had a lot of fun creating this card, using the “Quiet Meadow Bundle” and the “Days to Remember” stamp set. It’s a simple card, but the gorgeous meadow dies really step it up!

I used the ‘stucco’ pattern from the “In Good Taste” Designer Series Paper to create a sort of collage with my stamps. The typewriter script is super fun to use as a background image too. Both stamped pieces were torn and glued to the card front. The Meadow Dies, pearls, and stamped sentiment really pulled all the elements together on this card.

I made a second card, the same way as the first one, but I changed the sentiment, the flower die and added some extra pink…

This card is my favourite out of the two because I like the darker ink on the flower die and the combination of the Polished Pink and Pale Papaya colours. It pops off the card more than the softer colours on the “Thinking of You” card.

Here’s my video demonstration for you – I hope you enjoy it!

I joined Stampin' Up! the first night they arrived in Canada, April 2002, and what a ride it's been! At the time I just wanted the discount on all of the fabulous stamps and accessories - why pay full price if you don't have to, right? But little did I know where my journey with Stampin' Up! would take me. Read More…
